Raising the Glass partners with Paddy & Scott's

We are proud to announce a new partnership with Paddy & Scott's, the purpose-led coffee company, through their social impact arm Ambition Unlocked.

It started with a trip to Kenya, sitting with girls who explained that when they had their period, they couldn't go to school. Not because they didn't want to, but because they didn't have access to basic hygiene products. Something that simple was the difference between an education and a future slowly lost.

That is exactly what Paddy & Scott's set out to change. Through Ambition Unlocked, they fund Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Services and Dignity Packs for girls in Meru, Kenya, giving young women what they need to stay in school and access the opportunities they deserve. The work is built with the community in Meru, not just for it, in partnership with the Mount Kenya Trust.

This partnership sits at the heart of what Raising the Glass is about. Inclusion across every age, every stage, and every link in the supply chain. From the coffee farm to the boardroom, from the classroom in Kenya to the Raising the Glass community member, equity has to run through every link.

You can hear the full story in our Brewing Change podcast episode, where ROM talks to Zoe Hill and Jessie Snelling from Paddy & Scott's about building lasting change, the personal experiences that shaped how they lead, and why a small business can still make a real difference.

Raising the Glass is a Finalist

Women In Food & Drink Awards 2026

We are incredibly proud to share that ROM, founder of Raising the Glass, won two Women in Food & Drink Awards:

  • Woman of the Year
  • Diversity & Inclusion Champion

These nominations reflect the heart of what Raising the Glass stands for, community, inclusion and driving meaningful change. Here is what the judges had to say:

Diversity & Inclusion Champion:

"Linking inclusion directly to growth, ROM has created a powerful platform that is opening doors across the beverage industry. Recognising the underrepresentation of small and diverse start-ups, she has built a nationally recognised programme that provides meaningful support, connection, and opportunity. Judges praised her clear vision, tangible impact, and ability to turn purpose into a successful, scalable business. By demonstrating that diversity is not just a value but a driver of industry progress, ROM is a true champion of inclusion and a deserving winner."

Woman of the Year:

"Redefining what leadership looks like across the drinks industry, Rebecca Oliver-Mooney has created a powerful, inclusive ecosystem that is transforming how people connect, grow and succeed. Through Raising the Glass and the deeply impactful Hey Dan initiative, she has united the sector at every level while addressing both opportunity and wellbeing. Judges praised her ability to remove structural barriers and drive meaningful, national-scale change. By combining commercial insight with human-centred leadership, ROM is not only shaping the future of the industry, she is changing it for the better."
